We have an excellent reputation for providing quality residential aged care and affordable retirement village accommodation. We believe every elderly person has a right to a place they can call home regardless of age, stage, means or needs. We are a community built on love, respect and care for our residents, their families and each other.

About Our Role

We're looking for an experienced Activities & Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

In this role, you will deliver engaging, person-centred therapeutic programmes that enhance our residents' wellbeing, encourage independence, foster social connection, and bring purpose and enjoyment to everyday life.

Reporting to the GM - Care & Villages, you will work closely with residents, whānau, and the wider care team to support residents in achieving their health and wellbeing goals, maintaining functional abilities, and enhancing their quality of life through meaningful recreational engagement.

This is a part-time position working Sunday and Monday, 10:00am – 4:00pm.  There may be opportunities to pick up additional shifts if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging activities and lifestyle programmes that support residents' physical, emotional, social, and cognitive wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the full-time Activities & Lifestyle Coordinator to implement planned activities, events, and programmes that align with residents' interests, abilities, and goals.
  • Foster meaningful resident participation by building positive relationships and creating inclusive opportunities for connection, enjoyment, and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate activity records and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of resident participation and programme effectiveness.
