About You:

You will be a qualified or suitable experienced gardener, preferably with experience maintaining commercial or larger scale gardens. You are comfortable and confident working independently or as part of the team and will bring a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Skills & Experience:

You will bring with you:

  • Ability to execute approved garden design plans to a high standard.
  • Experience with mowing and maintaining lawns (only required in our smaller villages).
  • Proven experience with regular garden maintenance activities, ensuring gardens remain attractive and well-presented at all times.
  • Confidence using a range of gardening tools and equipment such as hedge trimmers, sprayers, lawn mowers, and weed eaters.
  • Pride in providing superior customer service and demonstrate patience and empathy with our elderly residents.
  • A calm, reliable presence when working under pressure.
  • A proactive attitude towards health & safety, always ensuring the security and safety of residents, self, visitors, staff, equipment and property.

  • Purpose with heart – play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and dignity of our elderly community
  • A caring culture – be part of a supportive team built on aroha, respect and genuine connection
