ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking Casual Registered Nurses to join our team and provide outstanding care to our rest home and hospital residents. With a range of weekday, weekend, and night shifts available, this role offers flexibility to fit around your lifestyle and availability.
As a Casual Registered Nurse, you'll play a key role in supporting the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of our residents. Working alongside a dedicated clinical team, you'll deliver compassionate, person-centred care, provide clinical leadership, and help create an environment where residents feel valued, safe, and at home.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, competent nursing care.
- Assessing, planning and evaluating resident care needs.
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with policy and best practice.
- Supporting and guiding care staff and other team members.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to care planning.
- Responding effectively to changing resident needs and clinical situations.
ABOUT YOU
You're a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse who is committed to providing exceptional care. You enjoy working as part of a team, can quickly build rapport with residents and colleagues, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for aged care and enhancing resident wellbeing
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Sound computer skills and confidence with clinical documentation systems
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts as required
